Shafaq News/ An informed source revealed, on Saturday, the reason for the chaos that took place at Baghdad International Airport this morning, Saturday.
The source explained to Shafaq News Agency that the disturbances were the result of an increase in the number of flights and the granting of incorrect times to passengers, which led to the delay of three flights and caused congestion and chaos inside the airport, reaching the point of assaulting passengers who demanded their rights.
The source also indicated that Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani had issued an urgent directive to form a committee to investigate the reasons for the flight delays and identify those responsible for them.
He explained that some travelers were forced to stay at the airport due to the lack of flights and the allocation of planes to foreign visitors.
Activists on social media circulated video clips showing chaos at Baghdad International Airport this morning, Saturday, due to the delay of a number of flights.
