Parliament Speaker Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani affirmed, today, Monday (November 18, 2024), the parliament's support for the legal agreements between Baghdad and Erbil in a way that serves all Iraqis in all regions of Iraq.
The media office of the Speaker of the Council of Representatives said in a statement received by "Baghdad Today", that "Al-Mashhadani received the head of the Kurdistan Regional Government's representation in Baghdad, Faris Issa Abdul Karim, and discussed with him ways to develop relations between the institutions in the center and the region to overcome previous obstacles and overcome problems, reaching an agreement on points of disagreement within the legislative and legal frameworks, and in a way that defines the constitutional rights and duties of the center and the region."
Al-Mashhadani said, according to the statement, that "the Council of Representatives continues to support the legal agreements between Baghdad and the Kurdistan Region in a way that serves all Iraqis in all regions of Iraq."
