[rtl]Today, Thursday, the spokesman for the Ministry of Electricity, Ahmed Moussa, identified two sites for using waste in generating energy, namely Abu Ghraib and Nahrawan, while he stated that the ministry is keen for these sites to be close to the network and transmission lines.[/rtl]
[rtl]Musa said, "The ministry has signed minutes with the Investment Authority and the Baghdad Municipality to select two sites to use waste to generate electricity, one in Abu Ghraib and the other in Nahrawan, to obtain an investment opportunity to establish power stations through recycling waste."[/rtl]
[rtl]He added, "The Ministry is keen to have these sites close to the network and transmission lines, and we have obtained the approval of the Council of Ministers to transfer these investment projects to implementation."[/rtl]
[rtl]He continued: "We have studies that have almost been completed regarding the referral of installing engines in the Al-Shahabi area in Wasit Governorate to produce energy using wind, and we are close to contracting with companies specialized in this field."[/rtl]
