    The Ministry of Planning, on Wednesday, killed more than 12 thousand traffic accidents during 2015, while traffic accidents promised "great danger" comparable to terrorism operations.The spokesman of the Ministry of Planning Abdul - Zahra al- Hindawi said in a statement received (range Press) copy of it, " a slight increase occurred in traffic accidents recorded in 2015 compared with 2014 was (0.24%) , " noting that " the number of deaths among males as a result of traffic accidents amounted to about two thousand deaths a gain of 77% while the number of deaths among females more than (570) and death rate (23%) of the total number of deaths. "Hindawi said that" this figure is down by 9% compared with the in 2014 the number of deaths has reached in that year to about 2800 deaths , "pointing out that" the number of the wounded was about (9500) injury , up from the 2014 rate (2.5%). " the spokesman of the Ministry of planning to be" traffic accident report issued by the Central Bureau of Statistics showed that the crash was highest during 2015, amounting to (4213) accident rate (48%) of the total accidents , followed by run - over accidents (3405) accident rate (38.5%) and then the coup accidents (1000) accident rate (11%), while the other (218) accident (2.5%) , "adding that" the number of registered traffic accidents during the month of December amounted to (387) accident rate (4.4%) , followed by August (374) incident and by (4.2 %), while the rest of the months amounted to(3,452) accident rate (39.1%) of the total number of incidents of (8836) accident during the year 2015 ". He Hindawi that" the number of traffic accidents by class of the road was (8836) accident during 2015 , including (4303) accident on the main roads by (49%) and on the roads reached (2266) accident rate (25.6%) and on highways reached (1761) accident (20%) and rural roads , the number of accidents (506) incidents by ( 5.7%) of the total number of accidents , "pointing out that" the number of registered traffic accidents during the year 2014 recorded the highest percentage in the month of December (841) accident rate (9.5%) ,followed by August (799) incident and by (9%). As other months amounted to (7174) incidents (81%) of thetotal number of incidents of (8814) incident. " He stressed Hindawi that "one of the causes of accidents were caused by the driver as recorded (6393) accident (72%) and represents the highest percentage, while theaccident because the car has reached (998) accident rate (11%) and because of the way (738) accident rate ( 8.4%) The rest of the reasons was (707) accidents (1%) of the total number of incidents of (8836) accident during 2015 , "stressing that" Road traffic crashes are a major threat comparable to the current -terrorism operations. " and the official spokesman that" accidents traffic has become a concern and theconcern of all members of society and has become one of the problems that drain financial resources and suffered from social problems and loss of human energies which affects the necessities of life , which is thehuman element which is the foundation of society, " and called for" work to find solutions and suggestions and put them into practice to minimize these incidents , or at least address the causes and mitigate the negative effects and to identify the most important elements that share and cause traffic accidents , which are the driver and the road and the vehicle , and others. "
