    [ltr]Vice President Nuri al-Maliki said that the victory of the Iraqis will contribute to thwart militancy and extremism in the region, projects calling for countries in the region to cooperate with Iraq to drying Mnaaba and terrorist financing.[/ltr]
    [ltr]This came during a meeting with Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran's ambassador to Iraq, Hassan Dnaii fled.[/ltr]

    [ltr]For his part, the Iranian ambassador expressed "his country's support for Iraq," and expressed his appreciation for "the efforts of Mr. Nouri al-Maliki for the development of relations between the two countries for the benefit of the two peoples and peace and stability in the region."[/ltr]
