Thirteen year old Aiman is back with his family, living with his grandmother. When ISIS attacked Shingal on August 3, 2014, Aiman and 13 of his family members were among the thousands of Yezidis kidnapped by the militants.
A family from Mosul who had no children bought Aiman for $500. The boy lived with them, attending school, and being taught the Quran until his uncle found him and brought him home.
