Salah al-Din - Iraq Press - June 17: According to informed security sources in the province of Salah al-Din, Saturday, "The number of families returning from the displacement of Salah al-Din after checking their security position in the intelligence cell of the leadership of the province of Salah al-Din (141864) family.
The sources added that "the number of families returning to Tikrit reached (40544) families, the residential complex role (2728) families, the district of the role (6789), Albujail (5155), district of Sharqat (30616), district Baiji united (56032).
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) noted that some 55% of internally displaced persons in Mosul are children. "The emergency site established at Al-Qayara Airport is home to 28,387 children (14,336 boys and 14,051 girls out of 49,564 displaced persons) internally".
"The Haj Ali site, the second emergency site established by the International Organization for Migration (IOM), represents 20,390 children, compared with 10,368 boys and 10,022 girls out of 34,561 internally displaced persons." Humanitarian organizations estimate that approximately 55% Internally in Mosul are children. "
"As the fighting intensified, many children witnessed the death of their parents or family members who were killed by armed groups during their flight or by homemade improvised explosive devices."
