(Encyclopedia of the day for news | News Iraq ) -

Mexico - AFP - The Mexican government told its citizens to "take precautions" in light of the "new reality" in the United States, after the US authorities deported this week, a woman does not have legal status.

He was deported Guadalupe Garcia de Rayos, Thursday to Mexico, after a routine visit to the immigration office in Phoenix, Arizona.

And it resulted in the expulsion of 35-year-old woman, a mother of two children she bore in the United States, to get out demonstrations outside immigration offices, according to US media means.

The Mexican Foreign Ministry said in a statement late on Thursday: "The case of Garcia de Rayos highlight the new reality of the Mexican community in the United States under the shadow of immigration controls more stringent."

The statement added: "For this reason, we call (members of) the entire Mexican community to take precautions and stay in touch with the nearest consulate, to get the help they need in a situation like this."

President Donald Trump has signed a decree last month to launch the construction of a wall on the border between the United States and Mexico project and speed up the expulsion of illegal immigrants.

Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto and canceled a trip to Washington in protest at Trump's insistence that Mexico is paying the wall that the United States wants to build between the two costs.

Peña Nieto has pledged to pay $ 50 million to the Mexican consulates in the United States, to provide legal assistance to Mexicans living in this country.

He explained that the foreign ministry statement Mexican consulates "stepped up its work to protect citizens in anticipation of enhancing immigration measures by the authorities of that country (the United States) (...)."
