    Executive Director of the Association of private banks Abdul Aziz
    Hassoun, that the private banking sector began to grow and increasingly
    through the capital increase and the volume of deposits banks.

    said (of the Agency news): The indicators that were issued to assess
    the activity of private banks over the past year confirmed that the
    existence of clear progress in the work of the Iraqi private banks
    through credit and financial centers increase their capital and
    deposits.

    He added: private banks seeking to enter deeply into
    the global financial markets, especially after the recent decisions
    issued by the Central Bank for the development of the banking sector, so
    they are obliged to develop itself and the use of advanced banking
    systems.

    It is noted that the banking system in Iraq consists of
    forty-three banks as well as the Central Bank and distributed by
    property (7) government and banks (30) Al Ahli Bank, including (7)
    Islamic banks, in addition to (6) of foreign banks.

    Iraqi Banks Association confirmed that the opportunity for banks to enter civil deeply in global financial markets, especially after the recent decisions issued by the Central Bank for the development of the banking sector, they are obliged to develop itself and the use of advanced banking systems.
    Authoritative source in the Association said "morning" that the global banking sector is witnessing developments equal in the use of technology, which appear with banking products adapted to these systems at a time when Iraqi private banks and access to such activities and the use of this technology
    He said: that private banks are invited to the need to adopt such technologies, and the Association is ready to implement sophisticated training programs for workers in the banking sector has prepared extensive training programs for this purpose during the year 2013 and now witnessing the Association organize one of these courses.
