When SunTrust Park officially opens in April, R.A. Dickey will be the only member of this year's Braves team who can say he has played a game at each of Atlanta's past three baseball stadiums. But he no longer stands as the only member who will have worn a uniform while working at each of those ballparks.
Dickey will now have to share that distinction with the recently-acquired Brandon Phillips, who served as batboy when Dickey and his United States teammates played at Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium during the 1996 Olympics.
Phillips was just a teenager at the time, and the job clearly stuck with him. While participating in the 2013 World Baseball Classic, he tweeted out a picture taken with one of Team USA's batboys and reminisced about his own experience.

"That's one of the things about me that nobody knows, but it comes out every once in a while," said Phillips, who was traded by the Reds to the Braves on Sunday.
Dickey didn't remember Phillips from the time they spent together during the 1996 Games, but he appreciated learning this tidbit earlier this week.
Phillips was raised in suburban Atlanta's Stone Mountain and attended Redan High School before being drafted by the Expos in the second round of the 1999 Draft. Three years later, he, Cliff Lee, Grady Sizemore and Lee Stevens were traded to the Indians in exchange for Bartolo Colon, who joins Dickey as the 40-something additions the Braves made to their rotation this offseason.
