[ltr]Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Mohamed Iqbal of the Mutahidoun Coalition expected renewing nominating the former Governor of Nineveh, Atheel al-Nijaifi, for another term.[/ltr]
[ltr]Iqbal told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Nijaifi is still the key nominee as Governor and the political consensus among the winning blocs at the province’s Provincial Council supports this topic.”[/ltr]
[ltr]“The issue has nothing to do with the acceptability, but it depends on the political deals among the blocs on background of the elections results,” he stressed.[/ltr]
