Arab summit expected Russian flavor
Information Minister said the Jordanian-government spokesman Mohammed Al-Momani presence of the Secretary General of the United Nations Antonio Guterres, the Arab summit to be hosted at the end of this month in Jordan, and Russia's invitation to attend the summit.
Momani said in televised remarks Thursday that "it is expected to attend the summit, an envoy of Russian President Vladimir Putin, and to confirm attendance Guterres of the summit."
He noted that Jordan has invited and taught other router for a number of countries and people involved in the issues of the region and the peace and that Jordan is seeking to be the summit station of the joint Arab action stations, so these calls came.
He called on Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi Russia to attend the opening ceremony of the next session of the General Arab summit, through contact with the Russian Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov, according to a statement by Russian Foreign Ministry.
