Parliamentary economy suggests stopping work ration card system and the distribution of cash instead

The economic and investment commission in Parliament on Monday proposed to stop the work of the ration card system and the distribution of cash to the citizens instead of the vocabulary contained in the card.
Committee member olive Dulaimi In an interview with "direction Press," said that the issue of import ration card items by the Ministry of Trade has proved its failure and do not benefit the citizen him because of corrupt deals that have marred many of the contracts signed between the ministry and the suppliers of the items of food label, causing a waste of public money.
She added that the government imported the ration card items and most citizens do not want them being available in local markets at very low prices like substance rice and flour, while the State to import these articles at exorbitant prices, indicating that the replacement card items with money and give it to the citizen represents the best solution to eliminate this corruption file file.
