The governor of Dhi Qar, begins a visit to Baghdad to meet with al-Maliki and a number of ministers to discuss electricity and investment files

Dhi Qar (news) .. The governor of Dhi Qar, Yahya Nazareth, he would visit Baghdad to meet with Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and a number of cabinet ministers to discuss the outstanding issues with the federal government.
Naciri said (of the Agency news): The main objective of the visit is to participate the meeting of the Joint Coordination Council, which is headed by al-Maliki in the presence of his cabinet ministers, governors and heads of provincial councils.
He stressed: that he will discuss with ministers on the sidelines of the meeting, a number of outstanding issues and files that belong to the province, particularly the demand that the government strengthen the security forces in Dhi Qar.
He explained: he would demand as well as the Electricity Minister Karim raise the share of the province of electric power, which currently does not exceed 500 megawatts, as well as discuss the possibility of maintaining processing mobile transformers to break bottlenecks in power transmission lines.
And: that the issue of the investment will be on the agenda as well as where will demand more facilities for foreign investors, and extended periods of residence for them in Iraq.
He continued: As he would discuss with the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Ali al-Adeeb, the possibility of the development of new schools in the province, commensurate with their large population density, including the conversion of media department at the University of Dhi Qar to college.
He pointed out: that he will meet as well as Transport Minister Hadi al-Ameri to put the problem of internal garage in the Habboubi and which hampered Street Development Project the Prophet Ibrahim investment, stressing that he will ask the minister transferred him to another place. / End / 23.
