    [ltr]Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, described the MPs and the Provincial Council members’ waiver of their retirement pensions as a step that satisfies the people.[/ltr]
    [ltr]Hakim mentioned in his personal Facebook page “Giving up the retirement pensions by the MPs and the Provincial Council members is considered to be a step that satisfied Allah Almighty, the Messenger of Allah and the people as it will lead to divine care and mercy for all of us.”[/ltr]
    [ltr]The parliament Citizen bloc announced earlier that its MPs will give up their pensions.[/ltr]
    [ltr]On other hand, the Citizen bloc members at Baghdad Provincial Council announced on last Tuesday their cancelation for their pensions.[/ltr]
