    The estimates confirm that more than 36 billion dollars was spent on the ration card project since 2003 and last until 2012, but that citizens still face great difficulties in obtaining this card vocabulary./finished/5 p. x/

    Khalil a Kurd, is still screaming for purchasing power.. ;)

    OS: Khalil is a Kurdistan Lawmaker that is with in the Kurdistan block and, is Secretary of the Committee that over sees the CBI.

    NOT: He is the one that yelled the CBI could support NOW, $2.50 a dinar in and out of country.

    I'd be allll in at 2.50 an never look back....BUT, I think they like playin Russian roulette with car bombs more then being rich..... Its aggravating knowing they have the wealth of the world at there doorstep and them lazy bast...s won't pick it up!!

    $80 billion in CBI Reserves Valued at 2.5 times the Current Dinar Exchange Rate
    July 8, 2013

    Integrity electronic – Baghdad, said the decision to economic and investment commission deputy Mahma Khalil that “the central bank demands to issue monthly data are correct and ultra-precision about the size of Central Reserve and expectations for the amount exceeds more than 80 billion dollars during the month of July next, find out whereabouts in the Banks of the world” .

    He said the “increased balance of hard currency sovereign will give strength and durability of the Iraqi dinar the state of economic risks in the country.”

    He pointed out that “in the event of reaching the size of the reserve to more than 80 billion dollars, it means that every dinar both inside or outside the country covered by (2.5), because the size of the money supply of the national currency of 33 trillion dinars Iraqis. “

    The governor of the Central Bank of Abdel Basset Turki has stressed that “the bank reserves of hard currency will exceed the $ 80 billion during the month of July.

     2.5 times 1 penny per dinar = 2.5 cents.  Better than current rate but not what I was hoping for....lol

      the size of the money supply of the national currency of 33 trillion dinars Iraqis. “  Nobody really still believes that line of bs do they?  They have been pulling dinar from circulation for 5 years.  There is no way they still have 33 trillion out there unless the thieves of Baghdad steal it as soon as it comes in, converts it to dollars then re-releases it into circulation.  Not likely but possible I suppose!  lol :affraid:

    Thanks worf as I wanted that figure pointed out, not the $2.50 figure that was put out in another translated article but, do they mean the 33 trillion or, the amounts in circulation? Then a another speculated figure of that amount would have to accessed. Like figure the 80 billion dollars worth of in and out of circulation.. ;)

    OS: OK lets look at it like this, 1166 divided by 2.5 equal 466.4:1
