Contracts crude oil futures prices fell slightly in trading was calm on Monday, after a three-day holiday on the occasion of Easter holiday.
Contracts benchmark Brent prices fell 49 cents to $ 55.40 at 0310 GMT.
Prices had risen at the close on Thursday, before the holiday lead to the closure of most of the major markets three cents to $ 55.89 a barrel.
Contracts for WTI prices fell median 47 cents to $ 52.71. Prices had risen seven cents to $ 53.18 a barrel Thursday. Finished / 25
