    He expressed the President of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Martin E. Dempsey, his country's readiness to provide assistance to Iraq in the fight against al-Qaeda by sending trained experts on the fight against terrorism.

    Dempsey expressed interest in supporting Iraq in its conflict with al Qaeda and reported in a press statement seen by the 'Twilight News' potential to provide some limited U.S. training to combat terrorism.

    He said 'if the Iraqis chose to do ... I am talking about a very, very small number of American experts'.

    Iraq has been a wave of violence almost continuously since 2003 hit the whole country that left thousands dead and wounded during attacks by groups belonging to al-Qaeda.
