    Foreign Relations Committee hosted in the House of Representatives, yesterday, the ambassadors of five countries in the framework of a consultative meeting to discuss bilateral relations. The meeting was attended by the ambassadors of neighboring countries , Turkey, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Syria.
    The head of the House of Representatives Saleem al - Jubouri, during a speech at the meeting, Iraq 's aspiration to develop relations with neighboring countries.

    In a related context, the President of Parliament, during a meeting with US Ambassador Douglas Silliman yesterday, the importance of continuing international support for Iraq in its war against Daesh, stressing concerted international and local efforts to accelerate the return of displaced people and the reconstruction of their areas.
    The two sides discussed the overall political and security situation in light of the transformations taking place in the region, and the developments of liberalization of Mosul operations.
