We Need Help

Basically the only time we put our hands together is to pray or applaud. I did both recently at an exercise class.

Zumba. (No other words needed.)

I shimmied & shivered through this class. I prayed and asked the Lord not to let me fall and balance was needed. To say that I was "shakin my groove thing" was an understatement! It was a wigglin', shimmyin', clappin' extravaganza gone wrong.

I left with a headache as I drug myself to the car like a wounded animal. Once in the car, I took off my boogie shoes, laid my head back on the seat, and said, "Help me Lord.” We old-school gals can still drop it like it’s hot in Zumba class, but we might need a little help getting back up.

I want to lose weight not my mind!

How often have we felt we were losing our mind? No matter how hard we try we can’t do it on our own. We struggle, we shiver, we might have even shimmy out of control, yet we finally realized we need help.

God wants us to realize we cannot do it alone. We must surrender and let Him help us. Our troubles get us closer to God. With Him, all things are possible. Hold your head up and give major applause for the power of Jesus. We have made it this far by the grace of God!

Matthew 19:26 But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
