A delegation from the National Alliance headed by Ammar al - Hakim, on Monday, the Iranian embassy in Baghdad, congratulating the election of Iranian President Hassan Rowhani for a second term.
He said the National Alliance, in a statement received (range) a copy of it yesterday, that "a delegation from the National Alliance headed by Ammar al - Hakim , visited the Iranian embassy in Baghdad to congratulate the Iranian people successfully the presidential elections and the renewal of the second term of Hassan Rowhani."
The statement added that " the delegation during his visit to the Iranian embassy search yesterday with Ambassador Masjedi and embassy staff advanced developments in the political and security situation."
He praised Hakim as "electoral practice performed by the Iranian people , which has proved its commitment to the path through which the election of the Islamic Republic , " stressing " the importance of the Islamic republic to fight terrorism in the region , being the first to support the Iraqi people in the face of terrorism takfiri".
The Iranian president, Hassan Rowhani, had won a second term after his superiority over his rival most prominent, mainly Ibrahim, scoring 57 percent of the votes of the
electorate.
