Philippines buys Russian weapons .. For the first time in its history

Revealed the Philippine ambassador to Russia, Carlos Sorreta, for close cooperation with Moscow in many areas, including the purchase of weapons and to promote gas supplies and the peaceful use of nuclear energy, his country's plans.
He said in his speech Sorreta told Russian Sputnik: "We have a budget that allows us to buy a specific size of the Russian weapons," he said, adding that Russia has proposed to the Philippines a system of loans on good terms.
He noted the Philippines ambassador to Russia that Manila will buy part of the weapons for their money, while funding will be the bulk of these weapons through the provision of loans.
Sorreta also announced that a delegation from the Philippines will visit Russia soon to conclude the appropriate agreements "will host the St. Petersburg two weeks after the military and international maritime exhibition. The planned official representatives from the Philippines to visit this exhibition for Russian weapons models and to study the possibility of use in our circumstances. "
The Philippines plans to import small high-precision weapons and missiles, planes and helicopters from Russia.
