The European Union and Japan seek to conclude the free trade talks "very soon", according to announced on Tuesday.
He said European Council President Donald Tusk: " The EU is fully committed to the conclusion of two agreements negotiations very soon , " referring to the free trade agreement between the European Union, Japan and the Convention on the strategic partnership.
The pledge came after a press statement on the visit of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in Brussels.
Said European Commission President Jean - Claude-Yuncra "in the wake of Friday 's debate I am very confident that this will pave the way for a quick agreement on free trade this year."
The Japan's second largest trading partner for the EU in Asia. The two sides launched formal negotiations for free trade on 25 March 2013.
On the other hand , said the Board of the Bank of Japan board member Yukitoshi Funo: The uncertainty surrounding the commercial, industrial and financial policies of the new US administration among the risks to the Japanese economy.
However, phono, former Executive Vice President of Toyota, said that it is more confident about the outlook for the global economy than it was a year ago , where the show strength indicators on the Chinese and American economies.
He said during a news conference after a meeting with businessmen in eastern Shizuoka Japan , " It is true that there are risks should be alert to it. But the conditions of global (economic) somewhat more brighter now."
