    A security source in the province of Diyala, Saturday, that the amount of money stolen by gunmen who stormed the Agricultural Bank in Baquba today, amounted to two billion and 700 million Iraqi dinars, while security reports that the militants put explosives inside the bank after the robbery carried out.
    The source said in an interview with "Mawazin News" that "the gunmen who stormed the Agricultural Bank in Baquba, in the early hours, stole him funds worth two billion and 700 million Iraqi dinars," revealing that "they put a quantity of explosives inside, before leaving them."
    He added that "the security forces have mobilized all its formations and opened an investigation into the incident to reveal who is behind him," pointing out that "the forces are dismantling the explosives set by the perpetrators of the intrusion and robbery, inside the bank."
    For his part, revealed the mayor of Baquba district Abdullah al-Hayali, on Saturday, details of the theft of the Agricultural Bank in the center of Baquba, pointing out that the theft took place late in the evening yesterday after handcuffs hands.
    "The preliminary indications from the commission of inquiry indicate that the value of the money stolen from the Agricultural Bank in central Baquba amounted to about three billion dinars," Hayali told reporters. "The theft took place late at night after the hands of seven of his bodyguards were handcuffed."
    Al-Hayali added that "the theft was carried out with ordinary tools in the markets such as (Hammer-Oxygen), enabling thieves to penetrate the safe and steal money." He pointed out that "theft is the first of its kind in the history of the Agricultural Bank since its establishment in Diyala."
    The MP in the Parliament and the Chairman of the Committee on Agriculture and Water, Furat Tamimi that the theft was in coordination with two of the protection of the bank, pointing out that this branch has witnessed manipulation of granting loans to the Agricultural Bank.
    A government source in the province of Diyala earlier in the day, broke into a government bank in central Baquba by unknown gunmen.

    According to security sources in the province of Diyala, that unknown gunmen broke into the Agricultural Bank in Baquba , and stole approximately two billion dinars and 700 million Iraqi dinars.
    The sources said that " the gunmen who broke into the Agricultural Bank in Baquba , robbed him of money worth two billion and 700 million Iraqi dinars," pointing out that the militants "put the amount of explosives inside the bank, before they came out of it."
    The sources , who declined to be named, said that " the security forces mobilized all its formations and opened an investigation into the incident to uncover the party that stands behind him," noting that "forces in the process of dismantling explosives by the perpetrators of the raid and robbery, inside the bank."

    Diyala - July 16: Governor of Diyala Muthanna al-Tamimi announced the formation of a high commission of inquiry under his direct supervision to uncover the circumstances of the theft of the agricultural bank in Baquba.
    Tamimi said in a statement that he "formed a high commission of inquiry to investigate the theft of the Agricultural Bank in the center of Baquba," stressing that "will directly supervise the investigation of this crime."
    Al-Tamimi added that "the perpetrators will be arrested as soon as possible and issued instructions to arrest a number of suspects in the course of the investigation."
