Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The parliament Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, stated “The disturbed health condition of the President, Jalal Talabani, will not hinder his return to his post and if he cannot resume his post, a new president will be nominated.”
In a press conference held at the parliament building, he said “Talabani’s family rejected my request to meet Talabani five months ago,” noting that “I will submit a new request to meet him once again and if he proved unable to resume his tasks, a new president will be nominated.”
