Revolutionary Guards: Washington's provocation in the Gulf will have heavy consequences

Iran's Revolutionary Guard deputy commander Rasul Sanayi Rad warned the United States against continuing its "provocative" actions in the Gulf, warning that it would have "heavy consequences" for the Americans.

Sinai's comments come in response to two incidents this week in the Gulf waters between US and Iranian naval forces.
Helicopters belonging to the American aircraft carrier "Nimitz" approached Iranian missile boats last Friday, and American sailors warned Iranian ships to fire flares.

"The second hypothesis, according to the Iranian official, is the test of readiness of the Iranian armed forces through a review of the force in the Gulf," said Senai, referring to two hypotheses that could explain the behavior of US military personnel in the Gulf.

Sinai stressed that "all provocative and non-professional actions must be stopped because the entire responsibility in this area lies with the Americans.
