near the Syrian border
The Prime Minister of the Armed Forces, General Haider al-Abadi, on Tuesday supported the Pentagon's failure to bomb the international coalition of troops from the popular crowd near the Iraqi-Syrian border.
"The international coalition can not carry out air strikes without the approval of the Iraqi government," Abadi said at his weekly conference after a meeting with his government team today.
"There are no red lines for Iraqi forces within our borders," he said.
