(Baghdad: Al-Furat News) The head of the independent parliamentary bloc Sadiq al-Labban said that the presidency of Mr. Ammar al-Hakim of the National Alliance made them a cohesive bloc.
Al-Laban told the Euphrates News today that "Mr. Ammar al-Hakim proved to all that the National Alliance is a cohesive bloc with clear production in the parliament and the government," adding that "we aspire that his successor is able to keep pace and develop as Mr. Ammar al-Hakim."
He added that "there are many personalities able to complete the work in the National Alliance and the most likely of them leader of the Dawa Party Khudair Khuzaie," revealing "the rejection of the head of state law Nuri al-Maliki to head the coalition."
He pointed out that "this period will witness other labor; but there is no difficult birth and there are no differences on any person to lead the coalition and there is no obstacle, and what will be agreed upon by the leaders of blocs."
