The majority of the French are dissatisfied with Macron and his popularity is crumbling

A recent poll showed that the majority of French voters are dissatisfied with President Emmanuel Macaron's performance, which is a major change for the president, who won a landslide election less than four months ago .
According to Reuters, the IFOP poll for Le Journal du Dimanche showed that the dissatisfaction with Macron was 57 percent, 14 percentage points worse than the last poll in July .
The poll showed that the percentage of support for the centrist leader reached 40%, also down 14 points from July .
Since his election, Macaron has suffered several setbacks, including sharp debates in parliament on labor law reforms, his confrontation with the military and a reduction in housing aid. And are now in the middle of his official visit to several European capitals .
The Evoop poll showed that the cumulative decline in Macron's popularity since May was greater than that faced by former President François Ouland over the same period . sf
