Iran's exports of herbs worth 350 million dollars !!!

The Director General of the Office of the Development of Medicinal Herbs in the Ministry of Agriculture of Iran, the export of about 350 million dollars of these herbs annually.
Dr. Biman Yousfi Azar said on Monday evening that during the meeting of the Committee for the Development of Medicinal Herbs in Al-Barz province (west of Tehran), the establishment of a culture of medicinal herbs, the development of their cultivation and the modernization of their production techniques are among the most important policies of the Ministry of Agriculture.
He added that medicinal herbs constitute a modern economy with a global growth rate of 9% currently, and due to the rapid development in this area, will form one of the important agricultural sectors in the near future.
"We believe that the first priority of the strategies in this area is to increase the volume of exports in order to enter the global markets.
