    Baghdad (news) .. Deputy Prime Minister Saleh al-Mutlaq overall bilateral relations between Iraq and the United States and ways to develop strategic cooperation within the framework agreement concluded between the two countries.

    A statement by the Office Mutlaq received Agency (news) copy of it: that Mutlaq met with the U.S. ambassador in Baghdad, Stephen Beecroft, and emphasized the importance of strengthening relations services, scientific and medical expertise and rehabilitation engineering and agricultural including guarantees and provides specialized cadres.

    The statement added: that the two sides discussed the internal situation in the country and the political landscape and the problems facing the political process in light of the differences occurring between the parties and the parliamentary blocs, in addition to regional affairs and file Syrian crisis.

    He renewed overlooking: k position that calls for the importance of responding to the demands of the demonstrators as popular demands necessitate legislative, executive and judicial implementation of its duties in line with constitutional legitimacy of these demands.

    For his part, U.S. ambassador expressed hope that exceed Iraqi politicians decade and problems through resort to dialogue and focus on the participants in the pursuit of national interests, stressing his country's position in support of the Iraqi people in its march towards building the foundations of democracy and peace and security. / End / l.     Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council Ammar al-Hakim emphasized, during his meeting with the US Ambassador to Iraq, necessity of adopting serious dialogue among the Iraqi sides to confront the political crisis in Iraq.

    A statement by the SIIC, received by IraqiNews.com, mentioned Thursday “Hakim received the US Ambassador to Iraq, Steven Beecroft, in his office in Baghdad on Thursday,” noting that “Hakim emphasized during the meeting the necessity of speeding up attempts to confront the current political crisis according to constitutional mechanisms and consolidating common viewpoints among the different political powers in Iraq.”

    “Both sides have also discussed developments of the current political crisis in the country,” the statement concluded.
