    The memorandum of the parliament's authorization to the Turkish government to send armed forces outside the country to carry out military operations in Syria and Iraq when necessary entered into force with their publication on Sunday in the Official Gazette.
    The new Turkish parliament, on Saturday evening, delegated to the government, during an extraordinary session held to discuss the memorandum sent by the government earlier to extend the powers delegated the army to launch military operations in both Syria and Iraq, for a year starting from October 30 , 2017.
    The parliament's decision authorizes the government to send troops outside the border to intervene and carry out military operations, while allowing the presence of foreign armed forces for the same purposes on Turkish territory, and use these forces on a basis determined by the government, when necessary.
    The resolution stressed the continuing threats and threats to the Turkish national security as a result of the ongoing developments and the ongoing fighting in the areas adjacent to the southern border of the country, pointing to the importance attached by Turkey to protect the soil of Iraq and its national unity and stability.
    He pointed out that the continued presence of elements of the organization "calling" and "Ba Ka Ka" on Iraqi territory, separatist initiatives on the basis of ethnicity, constitute a direct threat to regional peace and security and the security of Turkey.
    He pointed to the continued operations of terrorist organizations in Syria, led by the organizations "Daqsh" and "Ka Ka" and "BD" and "YBK", against Turkey.
    He stressed the great importance of taking the necessary measures against attempts to undermine the territorial integrity of Iraq and Syria through terrorism and the imposition of an illegal fait accompli.
     He stressed the importance of the measures mentioned in the protection of Turkish national security, in accordance with the rights provided for in international law, against all threats, threats and acts which would constitute a threat to it.
    On October 2, 2014, the Turkish parliament ratified for the first time a memorandum authorizing the government to send armed forces outside the country to carry out military operations behind the border.
