The parliamentary committee charged with drafting a resolution on urgent measures against the referendum of Kurdistan announced on Monday a number of decisions on the referendum, the most important of which is the cutting of the salaries of the employees of the countries participating in the vote.
A parliamentary source told Mawazine News that "the committee issued a number of decisions followed by the head of the parliamentary security and defense committee, Governor al-Zamili, in the parliamentary session held today."
The source added that "the decisions included the closure of all border crossings with Kurdistan and prevent dealing with companies operating in the disputed areas, especially oil, in addition to cutting the salaries of state employees participating in the referendum."
He pointed out that "the decisions included the obligation of the commander-in-chief of the armed forces to redeploy the federal military forces in all the disputed areas, including Kirkuk, where the forces were present before 10/6/2014, in addition to the implementation of the decisions of the Ministerial Council at its last meeting."
The source pointed out that "the decisions taken by them also maintain national and social ties with the Kurdish citizens as a basic component of the Iraqi people, in addition to the loading of Kurdish leaders responsible for all the negative effects of the people of Kurdistan."
"The decisions also included the demand of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to inform countries according to their consulates from Kurdistan, and also the government to return the northern fields in Kirkuk and the disputed areas to the supervision and control of the Federal Oil Ministry and prevent the control of any security force belonging to the Kurdish parties."
Among the decisions is the continuation of all Kurdish employees in all their positions who did not participate in the referendum, according to the source.
"The parliament voted on all these decisions."
The vote on the secession of Kurdistan began Monday morning, September 25, 2017. It ended 29/43
