    BAGHDAD (Reuters) - 
    The central bank said on Thursday its foreign currency sales fell to 126.91 million dollars from 139.98 million dollars on Wednesday, down 13.07 million dollars.
    "The exchange rate reached 1190 dinars per dollar in the auction held with the participation of 35 banks and 10 companies for financial transfer," the bank said in a press release. 
    He added that "these sales are the results of the auction scheduled for next Sunday," explaining that "the total sales of this day amounted to about 158.51 million dollars." 
    "The amount sold to strengthen the bank balances abroad about 126.56 million dollars, while the amount of cash sold was estimated at 1.35 million dollars." 
    He added that "the sale of amounts transferred to the accounts of banks abroad at the price of 1190 dinars per dollar, while the cash sale will be at the same price."
