    Asiacell Telecom has confirmed that it is an Iraqi company registered with the Registrar of Companies in Baghdad, whose work is regulated by the Information and Communications Authority and is subject to all laws and decisions issued by the competent federal government authorities in accordance with the law.
    An official source at the company said in a statement received by "Al-Mada" yesterday that the mobile phone companies, by law, are organized by the Iraqi Information and Communications Commission "and that the licenses of the three companies (Asia Cell, Zain and Cork) granted by the Information and Communications Commission and at the level of Iraq Asiacell was one of these companies, which pays taxes on income to the General Authority for Taxes. The source explained that Asiacell has so far paid about five trillion dinars to the state of the fee of the license, The Taxation of various types and fees, and it is an Iraqi company registered with the Registrar of Companies in Baghdad and has major offices spread across the country and the largest in Baghdad because of the largest network with the largest number of subscribers.
    The source added that the company's services cover all governorates in Iraq, and have employees from all Iraqi sects working in the spirit of one team. Asiacell is a success story for the whole country and in the service of the participants as a whole. The number of subscribers reached more than 12 million subscribers distributed throughout Iraq, The source concluded his statement saying that Asiacell is subject to all laws and decisions issued by the competent government authorities in accordance with the law.
