    The Speaker of the House of Representatives Salim Al-Jubouri stressed yesterday the need for global parliaments to move forward to face the challenges that stand in the way of achieving international peace and security. He stressed the importance of the participation of the countries of the world in removing the devastation caused by an oppressive organization in liberated Iraqi cities. 
    This came during a speech by Jabouri at the World Parliaments Conference held in St. Petersburg, Russia. 
    The head of the parliament, Salim al-Jubouri, led a senior Iraqi delegation, last Friday to Russia. 
    Jubouri held his first meeting in Russia on Saturday with the speaker of the Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, and handed him an invitation to visit Baghdad. 
    Al-Jubouri warned the international community of "a virus that targets humanity," stressing that "the Council of Representatives must take the lead in confronting the challenges in the spirit of a society whose general aim is to restore peace and stability in the world and defuse any tension in any area."
    The President of the House of Representatives pointed out that "the contribution of the international community to remove the effects of the terrorist destruction of the cities and cities of Iraq and reconstruction, will be a firm message to all the forces of terrorism that there is no place in this world," but said that "the basis governing the Iraqi people is the social contract, The concept of a federal state and that Iraq is a unified country despite the circumstances that pass through. 
    At the time of the conference, Jubouri chaired the consultative meeting of the Islamic Group at the International Parliaments Conference. 
    During the meeting, they discussed ways to strengthen brotherhood and solidarity among Islamic countries and take unified positions on issues of common interest, most notably the Palestinian cause and the rights of the Palestinian people.     The meeting discussed means of cooperation in order to achieve common economic interests and stimulate trade between Islamic countries and activate all factors of economic development. 
    On Saturday, the Speaker of the House of Representatives attended the coordination meeting of the Arab parliamentary delegations that will participate in the work of the Conference of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.
    "The priority today is to strengthen Arab solidarity and discard differences to stand up to the challenges that surround the region," he said. He also called on the Arab delegations "to adopt a clear strategy to combat terrorism and coordinate efforts and the use of the experience of friendly countries to overcome this stage with minimal losses," pointing to "the importance of benefiting from the experiences of countries that faced adversity and difficulties persistently and force," stressing at the same time " To resolve differences to spare our countries a state of fighting that will further complicate the situation in the region. " 
    In a related context, the Speaker of the House of Representatives discussed with his Turkish counterpart Ismael Kahraman, in a meeting on the sidelines of their participation in the conference, the bilateral relations between the two countries and the developments of the referendum crisis in the region.
    According to a statement by the office of Jubouri, "During the meeting, the most prominent political and security developments in the local and regional, in addition to the bilateral relations between the two neighboring countries and ways to develop them and the importance of joint coordination between the two countries to meet the challenges in the region." 
    The two sides discussed, according to the statement, the repercussions of the file of the referendum crisis in the Kurdistan region. He stressed Jubouri that "this file should be discussed in the framework of the Iraqi constitution."
