    [ltr]Follow up of Mawazine News[/ltr]
[ltr]Pirates of North Korea seized tens of thousands of secret documents on the manufacture of ships and submarines from a company among the largest manufacturers in South Korea that could help Pyongyang's regime in case of war.[/ltr]
[ltr]Sky News quoted a South Korean politician as saying pirates had access to Daewoo shipbuilding and marine engineering systems last year and stole some 40,000 classified and sensitive documents.[/ltr]
[ltr]Kyung De Sue, a member of the main opposition party of the South Korean National Assembly (parliament), said he had received information about the piracy from the Ministry of Defense and other military sources.[/ltr]
[ltr]Among the information contained in the stolen documents, a detailed explanation of the subsystems of submarines and destroyers.[/ltr]
[ltr]"We are 100 percent sure that North Korean pirates are behind the theft of sensitive documents for the company," Kyung said.[/ltr]
[ltr]A spokesman for Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering said the company was not aware of the theft of its documents until Tuesday and was trying to verify this information.[/ltr]
[ltr]Daewoo is one of South Korea 's "big trio", along with Hyundai and Samsung.[/ltr]
[ltr]The stolen documents could help Pyongyang prepare for the war, which President Kim Jong-un has threatened over the past months, paralleling nuclear and ballistic tests that have alarmed the West, particularly the United States.[/ltr]
