[ltr]The Ministry of Oil stressed on Tuesday to "oblige" the Iraqi and foreign oil companies to involve private sector companies to implement the projects "by not less than 10%", while pointing out that it aims to activate the role of the private sector "to establish solid national companies.[/ltr]
[ltr]The ministry said in a statement that it "decided to direct the national and international oil companies on the need to involve the Iraqi private sector in the implementation of various oil projects, including subcontracting or holding or announced tenders or direct calls," stressing the "need for cooperation by all parties concerned for The private sector has a fair and ideal opportunity by "giving priority and support in the competition for active participation in the implementation of the announced projects."[/ltr]
[ltr]The ministry added that it "aims through all this to the direction of the Iraqi private sector to establish solid national companies capable of implementing the investment projects announced by the Ministry and oil companies in accordance with the standards and quality and the contexts followed and in order to achieve the contents and positive reasons provided by the Investment Law No. 13 of 2006 and the law Investment in Refineries No. 64 of 2007 ".[/ltr]
