    BAGHDAD (Reuters) - The 
    US Congress is seeking to introduce a bill that would impose terrorism-related sanctions against Asaib Ahl al-Haq, al-Najaba, and the Hezbollah Brigades, Iraqi factions that are under the banner of popular mobilization. 
    A bill to impose terrorism-related sanctions against the three Iraqi factions was submitted to Congress for debate at its next 2017 2018 session 
    , State Department spokesman Heather Ort said last week. (October 28, 2017), deputy head of the popular crowd, Abu Mahdi al-Mohandes, as "terrorist", noting that "he was listed on terrorism by the United States in 2009."
