    [ltr]The US Petroleum Institute said crude and gasoline stocks in the United States posted an unexpected increase last week, while distillate stocks fell.[/ltr]
    [ltr]Crude inventories rose 6.5 million barrels in the week ending Nov. 10 to 461.8 million barrels, while analysts had forecast a 2.2 million barrel drop, the institute said.[/ltr]
    [ltr]Gasoline inventories rose 2.4 million barrels, while analysts polled by Reuters had expected a 919,000 barrel drop.[/ltr]
    [ltr]Data from the Petroleum Institute showed distillate stocks, including diesel and heating oil, fell 2.5 million barrels while 1.3 million barrels were expected to fall.[/ltr]
    [ltr]US crude oil imports rose 652,000 barrels per day to 8.1 million bpd last week, ending 29/43[/ltr]
