Minister of Transport Kazem al-Hamami, announced a preliminary agreement with the Emirates Academy for the training of Iraqi pilots.
"Al-Hamami visited the Emirates Academy for the training of pilots of the Emirates Airline, he briefed the ministry on the facilities of the Academy and listened to detailed explanations, while a documentary film was presented to ensure that the Academy's objectives, components, And its sections for external training on one-engine training aircraft and two engines. "
Alhamamy toured the Academy's buildings, classrooms and techniques with aircraft manufacturers. A comprehensive training platform for education management, pilot training and air operations was developed in cooperation with Boeing, based on virtual reality technology to help trainees understand more deeply the principles of aviation and operation. Planes".
The academy administration called for "the interest of aviation students from Iraqi students to engage in them in order to provide them with the skills necessary to be professional pilots, while the minister welcomed the idea and announced his desire to bring Iraqi pilots to train in the initial agreement was agreed upon."
