The leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), Hoshyar Zebari, said on Monday that the sovereignty of Iraq is "incomplete and contagious," pointing out that the country's foreign policy must be independent.
"Iraq must have an independent foreign policy vis-a-vis its regional neighborhood and its Arab depth, and be the master of itself and its decision," Zebari said in a post on his Facebook page, followed by Sky Press. "His sovereignty is hypocritical and incomplete," he said.
He added that "the absence of Iraqi ministerial representation today at the meeting of the Ministerial Council of the League of Arab States on Iranian interventions in the Arab countries is further evidence that the independence and sovereignty of Iraq is hypocritical and incomplete."
