    Information / follow up ..
Maria Zakharova, spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, said that Washington's intention not to withdraw its troops from Syria after the destruction of "Daash" raises questions about the real objectives of the presence of US forces there.
Zacharova said in a press statement that "the US Secretary of Defense said on November 13 that the US military will not leave Syria before reaching a political settlement, and the conditions to reach, as we know, will be determined by the United States arbitrarily. We have repeatedly pointed out to Washington that similar statements raise many questions about the real objectives of US and coalition forces in Syria. "
"They do this not only without the permission or invitation of Damascus, but in violation of the will of the legitimate government in Syria. In fact, they act close to the concept of occupation. "
"Under UN resolution 2254, the United States, as well as the international community, have committed themselves to respecting the principles of unconditional respect for the territorial integrity of Syria," Zakharova said.
