The United States calls on China to stop sending oil to North Korea

(Encyclopedia of this Day News | Iraq News ) - Live: The United States called on all states to suspend diplomatic relations with North Korea, as China demanded to halt crude oil trade with the reclusive state.
Pyongyang on Wednesday launched an intercontinental ballistic missile on the Sea of Japan, while the North Korean leader said the missile was capable of reaching Washington.
The UN Security Council is meeting for the 13th time this year to discuss how the international community can face North Korea's ballistic missile capability, which is growing rapidly.
UN officials said North Korea had fired three intercontinental ballistic missiles and 20 ballistic missiles this year, according to the Wall Street Journal.
US Ambassador Nikki Haley said in a tweet on Twitter that North Korea's actions were making the world close to a state of war, noting that Washington was not seeking that option, but if forced, it would not be a mistake to destroy North Korea completely.
