Abadi demands a fair distribution of wealth and positions

     Baghdad / Range

Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi said on Monday that Iraq faces new challenges to eliminate corruption and stressed the need to eradicate intellectually after the military victory. He called for a fair distribution of "wealth and positions".
"We face a number of challenges, including the abolition of the other through extremist and terrorist ideology, and it is very important to eliminate this thought," Abbadi said during a speech at a ceremony organized by the Iraqi Teachers' Union in Baghdad. "We have succeeded in our heroic forces in defeating terrorism militarily and liberating our lands, and we must work to eradicate the deviant ideology," he said.
"The other challenge is to challenge the corruption that is trying to steal hope from our youth," he said. "It is shameful to use power for corruption and to extend the hand to public money," he said. "The importance of a community culture is to reject corruption," he said.
