Oil prices in Asia rose early on Tuesday, buoyed by expectations of a drop in US crude inventories after last week's agreement between OPEC and crude oil producers to extend output cuts.

Brent crude futures were up 11 cents from their last closing, or 0.18 percent, at $ 62.56 a barrel by 01:29 GMT.

WTI futures rose 15 cents, or 0.26 percent, to $ 57.62 a barrel.

The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) reached an agreement last week with non-OPEC producers to extend production cuts until the end of this year.
