The Russian Foreign Ministry announced on Thursday its disappointment with the US decision to supply sniper rifles to Ukraine, saying Washington would be a partner in killing people.
"We are very disappointed with the information that Washington has granted a license to an unnamed arms manufacturer to supply sniper rifles of the Barrett MV10A1 type of heavy caliber," Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told a news conference. To Kiev ".
"Washington is becoming a partner in killing people who rose up against the coup d'état orchestrated by nationalists in Ukraine, who defend their right to speak their own language and values," Zakharova said.
"By arming the Kiev authorities, the United States is pushing for the resumption of large-scale bloodshed in Donbass, where the situation is still on the brink of escalation because of bombardments by Kiev," she said.
