    BAGHDAD (Reuters) - The government should not begin negotiations with any representative of the region unless it obtains guarantees to "recover all the money stolen by the Barzani," the state lawmaker said on Saturday, calling on the provincial government to resign.
    "The popular discontent in Kurdistan proved that our Kurdish people are willing to change the era of Barzani and that he was fed up with his political class, which brought him to the tragedy, oppression and hunger," al-Awadi said in a statement received by SNG.
    "The federal government has to take this matter into consideration and importance, and it must negotiate with representatives of the Kurdish people in real terms, because those who govern the region currently are not qualified and do not represent the Kurdish people who rose up against them and against their repressive policies."
    Al-Awadi said that "the government is required not to start negotiations with any representative of the region, only in the event of guarantees, including the return of all the money stolen by Barzani of oil and the extradition of all accused and convicted and criminals and corrupt people smeared their hands with the blood and money of the Iraqi people."
    Al-Awadi promised that "the government is obliged to hold accountable for causing the killing and suppression of demonstrators, as well as coordination with the parliament to remove the current government, which has become undesirable in the province as well as in the federal government."
    Al-Hayat newspaper reported Saturday that the dialogue between Baghdad and Erbil would begin early next year, while it indicated that it would be sponsored by the United Nations.
    The relationship between the federal government and the Kurdistan region of tension, after the last referendum on the separation on the twenty-fifth of last September, prompting the head of the central government Haider Abadi to impose several measures, including stopping international flights in airports Erbil and Sulaymaniyah, .
