    Asked Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari said during a meeting with Turkish President Abdullah Gul effective participation of his country in supporting the new Iraq and the march of democracy and the restoration of security and stability.





    A statement by the Information Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received the "Euphrates" a copy of it today that "Turkish President Abdullah Gul met on Thursday evening and Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari and his accompanying delegation at the Presidential Palace and discussed with him bilateral relations and ways of enhancing them in addition to the situation in the region."

    He added that "the Turkish president welcomed the delegation of Iraq and consider this visit is important for the development of relations between the two countries in all fields," and expressed "hope that the stability of Iraq and the success of the political process," stressing that "his country stands at an equal distance from all the forces and ethnic groups and sects in Iraq."

    For his part, Zebari said, "This visit is a message of friendship, love and cooperation from the government and the Iraqi people and aims not only to the normalization of bilateral relations and bring it back to its natural course, but to broaden this relationship and developed in all fields," and urged him to "his country's participation effective in supporting and support for the new Iraq and the march of democracy and the restoration of security and stability. "


    He explained that "the two sides on the need for countries in the region to cooperate in order to establish security and stability in all countries of the region and find a peaceful solution to the Syrian crisis, meet the aspirations of the Syrian people to freedom and justice."
