The commander of the Quds Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, General Qassem Soleimani, on Saturday, the presence of more than 20 thousand US military in Iraq, in contrast to the official declaration of Iraq.
"The number of US troops in Iraq is around 20,000 ... and more," Soleimani was quoted as saying by Al-Akhbar newspaper in a report.
"The elimination of Daas was a purely Iraqi effort, and the Americans have greatly hindered our progress in favor of the extremist organization," he said.
"Abadi believes that Washington and its allies are capable of providing valuable support in the war on terror ... especially since our capabilities are weak," the newspaper said. Ending / 25
